SWALK is a free application which allows you to develop your social network. Simple to use, accessible to all, the application has the core idea that there is someone, somewhere, perhaps nearby, who has something that you are searching for.

SWALK works on the principle of close proximity. Are you searching for a baby sitter? Send a SWALK and you will find one close to home. Looking for love? Perhaps love is close by without you knowing it! You are selling an old piece of furniture, your old piano? Perhaps your neighbour is looking for a piano! SWALK allows you to be in contact with the person closest to you who can answer your needs.

Send a SWALK as if you are throwing a bottle into the sea. The bottle gets further and further from you, UNTIL someone replies to you. You can follow any number of your bottles on a map.

The application is free for the basic functions. There are payment options, the lack of which does not alter the basic function of the application, for those that want to use SWALK for specific promotional options. For most others, you can use the application FREE as often as you like.

To use the application, download it onto your mobile device. Create your personal profile. The first time you are connected and use the application, you can change your settings within your profile. Insert a photo, supply information you think is applicable and important for to you. If you decide to go down the payment route, you only make one payment, for the duration of time you are within your original profile. You can change your profile settings at any time .This will not affect the function of the application.

You can create messages attaching a photo. If you decide to enhance your message by adding additional photos, or a longer text, to strengthen your messages, the application allows you to do this for a small additional cost. But it is not obligatory...you can send messages effectively and free of charge without this.
